The only legal means for an aircraft owner to receive compensation for the operation of their aircraft is with a certificated air operator, holding a valid Air Operator Certificate. You can not borrow your friends jet and pay them. You cannot dry lease a jet and have their pilots fly you on your honeymoon. You cannot pay your buddy for gas to join him on his jet for a golf trip.
